Emily Yeung Man Ting

Ms. Yeung Man Ting (Emily) is a British Registered Music Therapist (Registered Music Therapist: BAMT & HCPC, UK), and obtained a Master of Arts in Music Therapy with Distinction from the University of Roehampton, UK. She was the Project Director (Art Therapy) of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, where she was responsible for coordinating youth community arts career plans, training young people to use art as community services, and providing supervision.

For seven years, she has served in different social welfare organizations and schools in Hong Kong: leading music therapy groups, individual music psychotherapy services, training experience in music therapy co-worker workshops, and adult stress reduction workshops. The service targets include the elderly, adults, youth, students of social education schools, people with intellectual disabilities, children with special needs and parents.

Currently, Emily is also undertaking an advanced music therapy training namely the Bonny Method in Guided Imagery and Music (BMGIM), providing emotional support and psychotherapy services to adults in need. In addition, Emily is taking the British Creative Arts Supervision (Psychotherapy Orientation) course certificate and provides formal music therapy supervision services, providing professional music therapy consultation for newly qualified music therapists, expressive arts therapy students, social work and special education students.

Emily is currently the President of the Hong Kong Music Therapy Association, mainly responsible for the working group of the "Accredited Medical Professional Registration Scheme" of the Government Department of Health.
